Pyrotechnics

The flashier aspect of stuntwork and possibly the most underappreciated, staging a controlled explosion for cinematic purposes requires a lot of effort and care. If someone goes wrong, many individuals as well as the environment could be at risk of catching fire. Experts in demolition involved in the conception of an explosion within a film setting deserve credit else the outputs of Michael Bay, Renny Harlin and John Woo for example, would not look the same.
